The timber market in Colombia has been traditionally characterized by the illegal harvest and extraction of wildly grown trees from native forests in a reckless practice that is not only criminal but also highly unsustainable, threatening our biological diversity as well as our natural resources.

Colombia´s forest industry has been growing exponentially in recent years, thanks mainly to the country's great forestry potential and the economic, social and environmental benefits that quickly derive from this activity when it`s managed sustainably. The development of Colombia´s forestry potential has become national policy contributing largely to the nations agricultural production capabilities and job generation.

Our company harvests only reforested plantations (Planted Wood species), helping to reduce productive pressures on native forests and establishing new commercial plantations which result in greenhouse gas capture, soil protection, erosion reduction and establishment of shelters and corridors for local wildlife.
